Just before the trail leads you to the village, there is a lovely burn (waterfall) that you can hear for ages before and after your approach.

...and so then I left Pitlochry, on my way to the village of Kinloch Rannoch, on the shores of Loch Rannoch. I took the last bus of the day, and arrived around 7 pm.
