Central China - Xian and Pingyao 9th and 13th September

We travelled to Xian on an overnight train from Beijing. The main attraction here was the terracotta warriors. It was well worth the visit as the site is truly impressive and the histroy behind it's creation fascinating. Then on to lovely Pingyao, where the Chinese draft banking system originated.
