Kayosan

There were free tours given by locals of the Kayosan area. I was fortunate enough to have my own guide but her English pronunciation wasnt great as the following illustrates; Guide (pointing to the bottom cube of the statue): That is the arse. Me (trying to contain myself): The arse? Guide: Yes, you know, the bottom. The circle is water and the one after that is fire. Me: Oh you mean earth as in earth, water, fire, wind, and space? Guide: yes. arse, water, fire, wind, and space.
