Cool Change is a 27 ft Catalina with a single hander, Juan Cuartas. Juan's Father is Cuban and his Mom is Colombian. His home is in Augusta, Georgia. Juan is getting ready to leave Ponce this week behind Ike. He needs to get back to the US. Upon Pete's retirement in 2005, decision was made to go South on the boat. We will take it one day at a time. One island at a time. See how far we get. Unfortunately it was late in the season, so we took of on the land boat instead for 6 months. In 2006, we made our 1st crossing across the Florida straights towards the unknown, new cultures, islands, countries, foods, vegetation, etc. We hope you enjoy reading our adventures and looking at our pictures.... full info
