Before we got to Florence we decided to make a pit stop in the culinary capital of Bologna. The city of Bologna is in the North of Italy and is the home of the famous Bolognase sauce, Lasagna and Tortellini. We arrived in the town in the middle of the day in the hottest month of the year to find that it was indeed hot and the walk to our accomodation was not much fun in the plus 35 degree heat. ... read more
