The city of Udaipur is a city of palaces and peasants owned by a Maharaja. It is really a pleasant respite, with stray cows wandering everywhere. The city is much cleaner than Mumbai, but it is also far more touristy begging the question, is it the 'real' India? Nevertheless, it was a welcome change to Mumbai.
