After exploring the markets, temples and massage parlors of Chiang Mai in Thailand we made our way to Laos. Our route into Laos was over a bridge called the 'Friendship Bridge' spanning the Mekong river between Nong Khai in Thailand and Vientianne, the Capital of Laos.
