We were a bit hesitant about taking ANOTHER 12 hour bus ride but it was actually really cool driving through Cambodia to Siem Reap. Cambodia is definitley much more rural and less developed than the areas of Vietnam that we visited which was a relief after the insanity of Ho Chi Minh City.
