Our flight from Santiago to Mendoza was only 30mins, but what a half-hour. You fly straight across the Andes and get the most incredible views of the Mountains. Surprisingly smooth flight, until the landing - which was very bumpy. Must be the cold air running down off the mountains into the valley causing crazy thermals. Mendoza was chaotic.
