Solvang is a small town in Santa Barbara County, North of Los Angeles. It was founded in 1911 on 9,000 acres land by a group of Danish educators to serve the Danes in the East coast. Most of the buildings follow traditional German style. Although Solvang may seem like a Danish village, there are very few Danish people live in Solvang nowadays.
