Permission to go ashore Captain!

Having spent four nights and five days aboard RMS St Helena it was a joy to sight land at around 0600 yesterday morning. The island of St Helene stands alone and yet very proud, covered in thick cloud. Her boundaries are formed by sheer cliff faces that must have had the early explorers panic-stricken as to where they could drop anchor and step ashore.
