The key to our room

We noticed that in all the places we stayed that had old skeleton keys, they had them hanging on absolutely giant keyrings. This pewter knight weighed easily a couple pounds. I guess this is supposed to discourage you from accidentally taking the key home with you.
Europe is closed on Monday.

We left Amsterdam today and drove to Germany... happy to be leaving the country where it costs money to go to the bathroom. Though we did encounter some very interesting toilets in the Netherlands, including one that cleans the seat by itself.
