You can go into this studio and learn how to blow your own glass baubles. Unfortunately it was closed when we were there but we might try when we visit Nelson again in March. How col is this enormous lampshade thingybob?!

Hullo!! We did a big fat trip a wee while ago covering Bonnie Scotland (our home), France, Spain, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and China. Then we came home and had a lovely baby girl called Beth and Alan went back to work. Beth is 14 months old now (I know - where does the time go??) and we haven't been anywhere exotic for yonks. Consequently we are now 'dormant bloggers' which makes us feel a bit dreary, so we better get our skates on and find some good places to visit and report on pronto!!.................... full info
