Well, sportsfans, the Mauritanian Peace Corps Volunteers, also known as the RIM Pirates, have won the West African Softball Invitational (WAIST), held in Dakar, Senegal. I was born in Palos Verdes, CA in 1982. I grew up in Gig Harbor, WA, where I graduated from Gig Harbor High School in 2001.
