Darwin to Alice Springs

After Kakadu we stay in Darwin for the night and with a 5.40am start we hit the road to Alice which takes 3 days. There's not much to see or do on the way to Alice so on day 1 it was a short drive to Katherine gorge stopping first at Leliyn to a huge lake for a walk swim and stretch and then drive to Katherine to the hot springs which were cool.
