The school could not function without her. She translates ad lib, front office secretary, administrative assistant, all around helper for all staff...we have her number on speed dial on our cell phone for times we need a translator!!
Maple Leaf goes on the road... April 12th 2008 This week Maple Leaf School held its first recruitment “show and tell” for parents interested in enrolling their children in the school for the upcoming year. A small busload of us traveled to yet another part of the city to a nice hotel/conference center for the presentation. After teaching many years in Canada, I moved to China in 2007 for a different experience. Teaching a few more years, and seeing a bit more of the world at the same time, seemed like a better idea than retiring. I am now in my fourth year at Wuhan Maple Leaf International School where I teach Mathematics and am head of the Math Department. An avid motorcyclist (over 60, 000km of North American road trips during the last five summers), I now ride a Chang Jiang 750cc sidecar bike here in Wuhan.
