The view from our room

Points of interest: The obligatory 7-11 (they are EVERYWHERE), a temple and in the background you can see the impressive King Rama VIII bridge. Also our busy little street below where there were some great food stalls and always something going on.

The Journey Begins!

Our flight with Gulf Air via Bahrain left Heathrow at 9.30 in the morning so we had to be at the airport by 7.30 to check in. Our beautiful sister was kind enough to get up at 5am and give us a lift.
