San Pedro de Atacama is a small touristic town in the middle of the desert, on the edge of the Atacama salt flat and on the foothills of the Andes. It's a comfortable place to stay and it's surrounded by some amazing stuff: salt flat, salt mountains, salt lakes, sand dunes, volcanoes and geysers.
