After an overnight sail from Auckland, the ship anchors in Bay of Islands on a partly-cloudy morning. Our breakfast entertainment is a school of dolphins playing in the bay. They leap out of the water, their shiny bodies glistening in the morning light. Then, they dive under the water and back out, this time jumping over each other in the air. What a show!
