The only thing you need to know about eating guinea pig is what our hotelier told us before we left..."Ohhh, you eat cuy at this time of night? Why? Is bad for stomach!" Listen to the locals...he was right! Although, our waiter did run right out to the market to get a fresh one for us and then promptly made neck cracking motions and laughing when we asked him if that's where he went!
