The Cluny Cathedral

This is the inside of the cathdral the walls in this section are still standing but as you can see there is no roof and in most parts there is litterally nothing left. Near the entrance of the cathedral, the huge bases of the pillars that supported the church still remain as well as part of the first doorway. The architecture for the church was the first to utilize gothic styling, nearly 100 years before other buildings in Europe.
