New Year´s Eve in Quito
January 2nd 2008 The days before New Year the streets are full of man-size puppets for sale. These puppetes represent local politicians or other famous people. They are then burnt on New Year’s Eve, and people jump over the fire to get rid of the bad spirits of the past year.
