What an amazing way to spend New Years Day. Beb and Robyn came with us to the 137th highland Games held at Waipu - descendants of those staunch men who sailed from Nova Scotia no doubt. And it was all happening, tossing the caber, highland flinging, bagpipe competitions ... just like an outdoor eisteddfod! loads to see, and even a tin of haggis to buy!
