Batwa and Bananas December 15th 2007 After 5 days in Kigali, we decided to sign up for a "community based" tour in Ruhengeri, about 2 hours north. We boarded a bus for $3 and off we went! The intention of the tour is the give travellers the chance to really meet Rwandans and experience true Rwandan culture.

We have decided that after 24 years and only ever leaving Canada once, it's time to jump off the deep end and travel the world. We'll hit up South America, Africa, Europe and Asia, and the plan is to just go with the flow and see and do whatever our little hearts desire!
