Our honeymoon to Malaysia (Langkawi, Sabah and Kuala Lumpur) was the beginning of overseas travel for both of us as a couple. And it seems, it was also the beginning of our love for South-East Asia. For our one year wedding anniversary we decided on a light backpacking trip for a few weeks to Northern Thailand (based in Chiang Mai mainly), with a couple of days in Phuket and celebrating Songkran in Bangkok.
