Stewart Island December 22nd 2005 Arriving at the ferry terminal at Bluff, we could see across the water to the huge Aluminium smelting plant that we had heard about at Lake Manapouri. A huge facility if a bit of an eyesore!

After years of commuting by rail and road, we both decided enough was enough and to take the plunge and plan a Round the World trip. Six months was the limit we set, but who knows if we'll stick to it??
