On our 4th day, we docked at Puerto Vallarta ( our favorite port on the cruise ) and ALL the taxi drivers in the city saw us coming (3 to 4 bucks a head). Because we had spent so much time in PV in the past we walked past the taxi’s and took the local bus (5 pesos / 50 cents a head) across the street down to the main part of town and the Melecon.
