The surf at Santa Theresa

Christian told us before we left that Santa Theresa was his favorite beach in all of Costa Rica, so we had pretty high expectations - and they were easily met and exceeded. It basically requires a 4WD vehicle to get there (big potholes dominate the road). After more than 25 very wonderful and fulfilling years living, working and raising our two boys in Minnesota, we have decided to relocate to New Zealand - specifically the Hutt Valley just outside Wellington, on the southern part of the North Island. Nancy will be working as a General Practitioner (family physician) at Hutt Union Community Health Centre.
