Oh My God!
Coincidentally read a review in NY Times travel a week or so before I took my first trip to Paris, and there was a bit about the best falafels in all of Europe to be found at L'as du Falafel. Didn't really know what a falafel was, but discovered it was one of the most wonderful taste treats I had ever experienced. Do not try to be prim and proper when eating one...the "mess" is half the enjoyment! And much to my surprise, they actually had the review from the Times that I had read tacked up on their wall at L'as du Falafel.
