Border Control

Arriving at the border of Russia and Mongolia, we had to wait for a total of 9 hours (6 hours on the Russian side, 3 hours on the Mongolian side) for no apparent reason. Our train got smaller and smaller until it was just two carriages in size. After they had decided we had suffered enough, an engine arrived to take the two carriages through to Mongolia.
