Celebrating Chinese banquet style

That night we had a big dinner with many different dishes. The hikers insisted we celebrate our accomplishment and bought a huge jug of baijiu, the Chinese hard alcohol. Imagine drinking straight gin with a bit of rubbing alcohol or motor oil mixed in. That's probably about what it tastes like. It was definitely a good learning experience, but I don't think I need to drink baijiu for a very long time.
