Kylemore Abbey, Westport and Knock

October 8th 2001
Monday started out with no rain to visit KYLEMORE ABBEY. Built in the 1860's, this was acquired by the Benedictine nuns in 1920 when they left Belgium in World War I and now houses a secondary girls boarding school.
