Cape tribulation, 2 and a half hours driving abovve Carins and beyond the surfaced roads, is isolated! The only place where tropical rain forests meet the sea. Our cabins are in the forest and the bar is on the beach (see photo) we spent time on beaches, cruising among the mangroves and crocs and had a two hour guided walk int he forest at night- complete with huntsman spiders!!
