The Community Shower in the Jungle of El Panchan

The cold water didn't bother us at all because after a long and hot day it felt very refreshing. Believe it or not...we had to wait in line and there was even a line after us as well.

Upon arrival to the city of Palenque from San Cristobal, approx. a 5 hour bus ride, we once again trusted our Lonely Planet travel book and headed for El Panchan, which is located just off the road near the entrance to the Palenque ruins.
