The colectivos...aka taxis...sort of!
This is a colectivo which is a taxi but with a specific route, usualy a giant 45 min circle between Viña and Valparaiso. It costs anywhere from $.50-1.25 depending on where you want to go. They are faster and more comfortable than a micro/bus. The downside I have found is that you can only enter and exit the colectivo from the right side. That means if you get in first (sitting behind the driver), and 2 more passengers get in after you but you get out first, they all have to get out in order for you to get out. Then everyone piles back into the car for the next stop. It´s like musical chairs. Quite entertaining!
