Childrens Memorial

A girl developed 10 years after the bomb hit Hiroshima leukaemia and hoped that she would survive after she would fold 1000 cranes. Unfortunately she did not, and this memorial is to remember all the children that died as a result of the bomb

On the 6th of August 1945 the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. In seconds it destroyed a vast area of houses, schools, temples, merchandise buildings and above all thousands of lives.
