We rented a scooter to see the island and small villages that make it up. Here we stopped at a cave that was used to hide locals during many Indo-China conflicts.

Cruisin' around Cat Ba Island

We decided to pass on the much used tour package to Cat Ba Island and chose instead to do it ourselves. In the morning, we jumped on cyclos (bike cabs) for the ride to train station.
