Hi all! I realised I have posted quite a few pictures of the kids but hardly any of day-to-day life here in Africa. I think people in our neighborhood (and my work neighborhood) are starting to get used to me being around. There are less stares and 'mzungu' calls! Hi I am a 28 year old female from Scotland. Having lived and worked in the States for the past 5 or 6 years, I am preparing to embark on a 9-month trip to East Africa. I will be volunteering in 3 different countries, for 3 months in each. In Tanzania - at Sharom Orphan Centre. In Uganda - on an Outreach-to-children program.
