We've just spent an interesting week in St Gervais which is a village of about 800 people just across the Rhone river from Orange. We made the most of travel locally, taking day trips out from there to Avignon, Pont du Gard, Uzès, Orange, Chateauneufdupape, Pont St Esprit, and Chartreuse--all different, all interesting.
