Japan Trip: Day 9 - Kyoto

May 21st 2007
Today would be my last full day in Japan. We went to the Imperial Palace, a 27 acre compound which was the residence of the Emperor when Kyoto was the capital of Japan. The capital was moved to Tokyo in the 1869. On the grounds was a very nice garden, called the Oikeniwa Garden.
