Namibian friendliness

These were the two friendly Namibians of German origin that took care of us in Karibib. The father was not only the owner of the only hotel in town he was also the ambulance driver we found out as a young girl was hit by a car i=on the main road. He also looked like some aAmerican movie star, but we couldn't figure out which one. Thanks guys for making Namibia such a special country to us. We will never forget Karibib, that's for sure.

High were my expectations of the Namibian capital. A castle Neuschwanstein perched on the slopes between the Eros and Auas mountain chains, with a quaint cobblestoned town centre of thatched roof houses, was the least I expected.
