Vi tok buss fra Hanoi i Vietnam til Nanning, som er en by ikke langt innenfor den kineseske grensen. Vi kom dit paa ettermiddagen og skulle ta buss videre til Hong Kong samme dag. Her kunne absolutt ingen engelsk og vi maatte faa tatt ut litt kinesiske penger for aa betale for bussbillett videre. Problemet var at automaten paa busstasjonen var stengt.
