We befriended a guy at the races who actually told us to bet on Juan Value which was the horse Meredith and Emily had already picked and eventually won his race. That guy also thought Steve was Russian. Might not seem funny but Dave sure thought it was; he introduced Steve the rest of the trip as "El Ruso."
