So much rain at the Acropolis

And then the rain came...

May 28th 2007
Today we went to Athens, Greece. About the time we reached the Acropolis a downpour began. Not just your typical shower, but more like movie rain, where it is just buckets of water. The steps were slippery, but we climbed to the top and got to see the Parthenon. We bought umbrellas from a vendor for 8 Euros each. That many umbrellas in a small space was asking for trouble.
