I'm originally from London, England, and left everything to go travelling in October 2006, with just a one way ticket taking me to India, Singapore, Bangkok and Sydney. The rest was up to me and left largely unplanned, purposely - I wanted my travelling to take me rather than me controlling it. I had no idea how long I was going to be away for, or when, or if, I'd be back.
