This is Eli, Mrs. Kubota (also Kubota sensei, as she is a teacher too), and Kubota sensei, my hosts at the festival. I had a wonderful day with them. Kubota sensei and his wife spent three years in Australia together, so their English is great!
Autumnal Festival

Japanese are very big on seasons. To go along with the seasons are festivals, also incredibly popular in Japan. In autumn, there are festivals, known as matsuri, held at local shrines.
