Cliff houses

Originally the homes of the Tellem tribe, who were chased out of the area by the Dogon people, the cliff houses were also used for protection during attack, burial of the dead, and making sacrifices to the Dogon gods.

Well, this isn’t exactly how I’d planned to write my blog, but unfortunately it’s the way it’s panned out!
