After a pleasant day driving through the Catlins, we managed to navigate through Dunedin and drive up a rather steep and windy hill up to Larnach Castle. Although it wasn't raining, it was overcast and getting dark, so photo opportunities (i.e. the lovely gardens) were minimal, although there was, of course, the obligatory picture of the castle itself.
