Young monks delighted in blowing the small trumpets right beside each others ear...and making them sound as loud as possible. In truth, with all the other traditional instruments, I felt little bubbles of oxygen burst in my head into light and peace...

Having arrived in Leh on 24th April, it transpired that my most recent e-mail did not reach any of my contacts in Leh. They thought I was coming around 26th!
