today was an experiment in respect. respect for boundaries, culture, intelligence, et. al. i finally slept a solid 7 hours last night and seem to be adjusting to the time change with very minimal jet lag (hooray!), so when i woke up this morning i picked up the milano section of the corriere della sera (the newspaper). it was harder to read than i'd prefer, but my comprehension of the language ... read more

-adesso, sono a capriglio- i have the great desire to travel, write, and cook...and hopefully one day i'll have the know how to combine my passions. i'm inspired by little things, because those are the things i can count on to make me happy. i'm a member of WWOOF (willing workers on organic farms) in italy and i'll be farming on 5-6 organic farms in northern italy between monteveglio, capriglio, bologna, firenze, parma, etc. i want to learn how to cultivate different foods from the ground up, and integrate a need for sustainability in nature and in my personal life.... full info
